Alternatively, you can go to Device Manager (Windows key + X) and double-click on ‘Audio inputs and outputs’ to expand it. However, FxSound Enhancer only has a "dynamic boost" (no thanks - doesn't amplify all sounds equally) or an equalizer that only works above 110Hz. My ideal solution would be to do something like what DFX/FxSound Enhancer does, which is to have a virtual audio device set as the default playback device, and an application takes audio sent to that device, and just sends a louder version to my actual speakers. I need help finding a sane volume booster that boosts all frequencies (including the very low ones, <40Hz). Alternatively, you can open the volume mixer control by navigating to Settings > System > Sound > Volume Mixer in Windows 11.![]()
